Simon James (Hulk Mad!)
Simon is a freelance writer and journalist, currently living in South Wales. A big fan of cyberpunk and other sci-fi films and books, Simon used to be a singer in a punk rock band, and boasts of having hair that has been every colour of the rainbow - except blue.
He claims to have drawn inspiration for Sam119, from the novels of William Gibson, Mad Max films, and the Bible. Simon is married to Kelly, and they have two daughters. Simon also works with World Horizons mission movement.
As a baby Simon fell into a cauldron of magic potion, which, he claims, explains his amazing strength, and the fact that he is becoming more 'well covered'. Aided by his indomitable allies, Simon continues to hold out against the conquering Roman armies... hang on, we're in the wrong comic...
Simon thinks tartan trousers are cool.

Steve Beckett (Red 5 Standing By)
Steve is a Grimsby, UK based freelance comic artist and graphic designer. A huge comic book fan since an early age, Steve regards UK comics as some of the finest in the world. Steve has also been a singer in a punk band but only had his hair one other colour other than his own natural shade.
Steve took inspiration for Sam119 from cartoons, films and toys he loved when he was a kid (and still does). He is married to Ellen and is part of the leadership team at Grimsby New Life church.

Favourite band: Fugazi.
